How it all began... A show was offered to us for June 3, 2000 in April of 2000. The band is a collaboration of 3 different projects. The first and still is playing today, is 60%, Ryan-Guitar, Damian-Drums, and Ben-Bass (original bass player for First Strike and life-long friend). The second was DABBEN 3, Earl-Drums, Ben-Guitar, and Damian-Bass. The last was a side project with Brice-Drums and Damian-Guitar. We talked it over and decided who would be best suited for each instrument. We called ourselves Goes to Eleven however First Strike was one of the potential band names. The show went well, it's recorded and we got some pretty positive response...

 

Time rolled on and we never played First Strike again. People would still talk about it years after the fact. In the beginning of August, 2004 after being bombarded by requests to continue playing, we reunited for a show. Ben was too busy with other projects and work. We understood and asked Matteo, who had never played in his life but was a friend just hanging out. He learned the set in 3 weeks and the show was a success. We've never stopped writing new material and playing since and we don't think it'll stop any time soon...
